Six months ago, I came to dA to do what most artists on DeviantART do: showcase their art. When I looked at other people's work and compared it to mine, I became unhappy. I strived to make my artwork better so I could meet up with the artists I was so envious of. Eventually, I realized that art wasn't all about being the best, but it was about expressing yourself and sending out a message. I started making art to enjoy myself instead of trying to prove my worth. It made things a lot easier for me. I made the decision to stop posting my artwork onto dA since I didn't want to have the stress of updating my gallery and trying to keep up with oth
